FSC Natural

Mainline was the 1st worldwide producer of cardboard envelopes to gain both FSC and ISO14001 environmental accreditations. Mainline have also been accredited with ISO9001 quality standards since 1994.
This particular envelope was manufactured on the reverse side of an FSC accredited GC2 folding boxboard to retain the environmentally friendly feel of the product.
All inks and varnishes used by Mainline are entirely vegetable based and comply with EEC directives.
Q. What is FSC?…The ‘Forest Stewardship Council’ was established in 1993 to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests as a response to concerns over global deforestation. FSC is widely regarded as one of the most important initiatives of the last decade to promote responsible forest management worldwide.
Only accredited companies such as Mainline are permitted to print the FSC label to show a credible link between responsible production and consumption of forest products. This enables our customers to make purchasing decisions that benefit people and the environment as well as providing ongoing business value.
In August 2009, Mainline installed its own BIO-diesel fuel pump to minimise its carbon footprint through its fleet of vehicles.
